Character

Consumers see 500 advertisements every day.

Have you ever asked yourself which one is yours?

Even if your message is concise and perfectly clear, you are still faced with the challenge of how to make it visible among all others. The key to accomplishing this vital task is to first understand the media by which the message is delivered.

Enter Marshall McLuhan. He introduced the world to this concept in the 1960′s. He coined the phrase “the medium is the message” in his book Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man to describe the various ways in which a message could be experienced by an audience.

He suggested that the medium through which a person encounters a particular piece of content would have an effect on the individual’s understanding of it. We give that understanding a name.

Character is the way in which your customers experience your message.

Three Point Design does more than just offer a photo gallery or a shopping basket. We work to create an identity that  your customers take with them at every click of the mouse. We do this with a deliberate consideration of every element on the page, pictorial or typographic. The characteristics of every element must mirror the personality of your business and your products. But most of  all your website should reflect you. Your site must change as your business changes, with the speed that it changes and in the direction in which you find yourself moving.

Following the path laid out by Mcluhan, we transform the content of your site into an experience. Our design creates ensures that your customer’s experience online mirrors that which you provide at each point of contact.
